The orange train is one of the very first driverless trains in Pakistan and it has been operated by Punjab Mass Transit Authority. The service was operated in May 2014 in Lahore through the collaborative friendship between the Government of Pakistan and the Government of China. Whereas after almost 6 years of hard work, the train was inaugurated on 25th October 2020.

Schedule of the Orange Train

The operational timing of the train is 16 hours with an interval of 2 minutes at every station. You can get the first train at 7:30 am in the morning and the last train at 11:00 pm at night.

Ticket Price of Orange Train

The ticket price is very reasonable for everyone since it will only cost PKR 40. However, there are few discounts for students, working women, and senior citizens. Moreover, they might soon make it free of cost for senior citizens.
