OnePlus V Fold and V Flip: Everything You Need to Know
We now have access to the earliest batch of computer-aided design (CAD) renders for OnePlus’ eagerly awaited foldable phone. The device is expected to be released in [August].
It is now clear that the OnePlus V Fold will have a bigger form factor, more equivalent to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and vivo X Fold 2. This debunks earlier rumours that said the gadget would simply be a rebranded Oppo Find N2.
The OnePlus V Fold is a stylish device with svelte metal sides and a large cover screen with a punch hole. A visible camera ring with three sensors and strong Hasselblad branding are located on the device’s rear, which has a leather-like texture.
Rumours suggest that the phone will include a periscope lens, an unidentified ultrawide module, and a 50MP main camera (IMX 890). OnePlus V Fold’s cover display will have a 32MP front-facing camera (OV32C).
The latest images don’t specify the main panel’s actual proportions, but rumours claim that it will have an LTPO AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution that is probably around 1900 x 2100 pixels.
Along with three speakers—one at the bottom next to the USB-C connector and two more at the top—the device will also have a fingerprint scanner built into the power button on the right-hand side.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset and a 4,800m Ah battery, capable of supporting up to 100W cable charging, are anticipated to ship with the OnePlus V Fold at launch.
It is only a matter of time before OnePlus announces a date for its upcoming launch event for foldable phones, as the company has previously indicated that it will take place shortly.
